About the Business

All our Physiotherapists at Total Restore are Chartered and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC). Extensive experience has been gained through working in the NHS and various private sectors. Our main focus is in restoring movement and function to the body following injury, illness, operation or dysfunction.

Sarah, the lead Physiotherapist at Total Restore, qualified as a Physiotherapist over 9 years ago. She has worked extensively in both the NHS and private sectors and has worked in various specialities including cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, neurology, musculoskeletal and sports injuries, in hospital, community and private clinic settings.

Sarah is a qualified Pilates instructor through the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) and has had experience teaching Pilates on a one to one basis and in group classes, for rehabilitation of injuries and also for general fitness and well-being.

She has a strong interest particularly in the musculoskeletal and sports injury field. She has been involved with several sporting events, including being part of the Polyclinic at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014. In combination of her Physiotherapy and Pilates experience, her particular interests lie with neck and back problems, biomechanics, postural analysis, core stability and soft tissue injuries.

Physiotherapy

Total Restore offer a wide range of treatment modalities dependent on your problems, condition/diagnosis, needs and goals. Following a comprehensive initial assessment from one of our experienced Physiotherapists, a treatment plan will be devised and discussed to best suit your needs and preferences. Whether you are looking for a specific treatment area such as Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Sports Injury Physiotherapy or Back Pain Physiotherapy, our focus is on getting you back to pain free movement and function, with the aim of restoring you back to being you, for total wellbeing.

One of the treatments which Total Restore specialise in is musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Physiotherapy of the musculoskeletal system involves using physical assessment, analysis and treatment involving the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, nerves, tendons, cartilage and spinal discs. When you develop an injury, illness or disability, the physiotherapy treatment will help restore the movement and functionality of these areas to help you return to normality, as much as possible.
