In his personal life Jamie takes his own physical fitness and mental well-being seriously and has competed in many sports to a high level throughout his life. As someone who has had first-hand experience of many sports injuries, he has great understanding for many of the problems involved in receiving injuries in sport. Jamie takes an evidence-based approach to his practice, and keeps up to date with the latest techniques and developments in the field. By assessing the extent of the damage fully, Jamie can form a course of treatment to ensure that the underlying causes are dealt with and you can get back to exercise as soon as possible.

Acupuncture
Yin is calming energy, whereas Yang is antagonistic energy. Everything contains some ratio of these two energies, and it is the imbalance between them that causes mental and physical illness. Usually treatments with this approach are administered by a traditional Chinese acupuncturist.
At The Treatment Table, our physiotherapist follows the scientific methods, where particular points on the body are selected for treatment based on a medical understanding of anatomy and physiology. In this way they can stimulate nerve endings within the muscles, causing them to send messages which activate the brain. The brain then triggers a response and releases natural analgesics which cause a decrease in pain levels. It is also used to stimulate trigger points.
Deep Soft Tissue Massage
Physiotherapy
Here at The Treatment Table, we form our expert opinions on physiotherapy and sports injury based on clinical reasoning and thorough clinical examination. We provide physiotherapy with accurate diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. Physiotherapy can be utilised to regain your normal range of motion and functions, reduce pain, tightness and swelling, and to re-educate the body to work fully once more.
