Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy involves treatment of injury or disease, using variety of techniques, which include tailored physical exercises and massage to reduce pain and improve functionality and movements of the musculoskeletal system.
At Life Olympia we have highly qualified and professional board certified physiotherapists offering individually tailored physio services to suit patients’ needs and requirements. Patients undergo initial assessment and treatment is offered in sessions, at regular intervals until the intended benefits have been achieved. We also offer advice and guidance regarding postural correction, moving and handling techniques at home and work, to reduce incidence of ailments related to postural imbalances.
If symptoms are felt to originate from a specific underlying cause that may need further investigation, your physiotherapist might refer you for a scan, which may be an x ray, ultrasound or in some cases MRI. Specific cases not responding to physiotherapy may be considered for injection therapy.
