I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1977 in Aberdeen, and worked in hospitals in the UK, Switzerland & Canada, before settling back in Aberdeenshire. I have worked in Private Practice since 1990, specialising in musculoskeletal problems. I am particularly interested in Pain Management.
Continuing professional development is an essential part of being in any medical profession. Amongst the many interesting and useful courses I've done over the years, I completed an Open University course in Social Science. More recently a course in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Skills has shaped the way I help people, especially those with chronic or long-term pain.
