About the Business
Catherine Kwan trained as a physiotherapist in Sydney, Australia and now has 17 years experience in the profession. In the NHS, Cathy worked at the highest clinical level as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist. This helped her develop advanced diagnostic and treatment skills. She has also trained in acupuncture and Pilates with an emphasis on rehabilitation. Cathy enjoys teaching other physiotherapists and passing on her knowledge for the good of the profession.
As such, she has been a regular visiting lecturer at London South Bank University for eight years. She also acts as an expert witness for Richmond Physiotherapy Associates, providing physio advice in negligence cases. Cathy is Australian with an English mother and has lived in the UK for over 10 years. She also spent her early childhood here. She's a true Blue with a British (and Aussie) passport yet feels rightly proud of her Australian heritage.
